Identical Twin Dies at 24 Shortly After Receiving Serious Medical Prognosis

Caitlin Leggett, a 24-year-old woman from Cardiff, Wales, has been remembered following her battle with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), an aggressive form of blood cancer that affects the white blood cells.

Her story gained public attention after her family shared updates about her diagnosis, treatment journey, and efforts to seek additional medical care abroad through public fundraising. According to reports shared by her family and covered in UK media, Caitlin was diagnosed with AML in April 2025.
