New Details Released Following Investigation Into Michigan Family Tragedy

Authorities in Grand Haven Township, Michigan, continue investigating one of the most devastating family tragedies the community has experienced in recent years. Investigators say Kristopher Karolkiewicz, 47, fatally shot his wife, Amanda “Mandy” Karolkiewicz, 39, and the couple’s six children before taking his own life.

Officials also believe multiple fires were intentionally set inside the family home after the shootings. Autopsies determined that all eight family members died from gunshot wounds, while the fire remains part of the ongoing investigation.
